Math Module - Evaluating Expression with Exponent and Parenthesis

Expression :

Expression In mathematics, an expression is a finite combination of symbols that is well-formed according to rules that depend on the context. We use expressions to describe relationships between numbers and the operations being used.

Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally :

Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally P = Parenthesis E = Exponents M = Multiply D = Divide A = Add S = Subtract Pls. try to memorize me!

Slide 5:

There are 4 levels. Do the top levels first. Parenthesis Exponents Multiply and Divide, from left to right. Add and subtract, from left to right.

Slide 6:

Conching was not able to go to school because of her toothache. She asked her classmate of their homework. Few of the items given to them are to be evaluated as shown below. B. (8÷2)+23 A. (2x52)+3 C.(18+6) ÷23 D. (82÷4)+23 E. 92÷(32+18)
